Realise Your Dream is Australia's long running professional development platform in the creative industries. It nurtures and supports highly talented emerging practitioners in the first ten years of their practice, working across almost any discipline in the creative sector.

In 2013, five emerging Australian creatives will be given return flights to the UK plus a grant to make the most of their time away. The British Council will tailor a unique professional development program with the winners, connecting them to UK industry experts, leaders and practitioners who will expand their networks and inspire them to build sustainable and successful careers. The first volume of The Dwarfing of Europe? series, inviting thinkers from the Balkans, Belarus, the Middle East and Asia to reflect on Europe's identity.

In this first of the series Dwarfing of Europe? publication, the European Cultural Foundation turns to Europe's neighbours for an honest view of Europe from the outside in order to boost and broaden the debate on Europe by focusing on culture. Their insights can help us craft new narratives for Europe. The contributors to this first volume of The Dwarfing of Europe? include: Shreela Ghosh, Basma El Husseiny, Peter Vermeersch and Iryna Vidanava.

Call for applications: Performing Arts for the Future

Project PAFF (Performing Arts For the Future) is focused on gathering students and young artists with legends and performance art authorities. Through these encounters, both sides can gain new experiences, help to create a new tradition and find artistic forms.

An intensive week of workshops with focus on dance and physical theater is scheduled to take place July15-20, 2013, in Prague (Czech Republic). In cooperation with the Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (HAMU), a number of workshops guided by tutors from the Czech Republic and abroad will be organized. Call for proposals for the programme "Cultural diversity and cultural exchange"

The Royal Norwegian Embassy in Madrid is the Programme Operator for the Programme “Cultural diversity and cultural exchange”. The aim of the Programme is to promote a greater understanding of cultural diversity and to stimulate cultural cooperation between cultural entities and cultural players in Spain and the three Donor States within the EEA Grants (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein).

The projects should be in the field of contemporary arts and culture, and preferably in the area of live art. Maximum period for project execution: 30 September 2013 – 30 September 2014. The deadline for submission of applications is 16 July 2013 at 15:00 p.m.

Roberto Cimetta Fund: open call for travel grants

The Roberto Cimetta Fund is launching the third 2013 open call for travel grants from 1^st to 30th June 2013. Artists and cultural operators living and working in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula can apply in Arabic, English or French. Priority is given to mobility from the South and East of these regions.

The Conseil Général des Bouches du Rhône and Marseille-Provence 2013 provide funding on two specific funding lines. Atelier for Young Festival Managers 2014

The seventh Atelier for Young Festival Managers, initiated by the European Festivals Association (EFA), will take place from 3 to 10 April 2014 in the festival city Edinburgh, UK, in collaboration with the Edinburgh International Festival.
